Meditation Weeks 2 and 3 - Fighting the Resistance

Wow - these two weeks were incredibly difficult. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't skipped a few sessions. And, frankly, I'm sort of upset with myself that I did. Here's the scoop.

The sessions I "graduated" to are now 20 minutes long - and that, for me, is far too long to sit still. Now, Russell Simmons would say "if you can't sit for 20 minutes to meditate, you are the kind of person who needs to sit for 20 minutes and meditate." Russ, you may be right, but I just can't do it.

I'm going to attempt to knock out the rest of the week's sessions and hopefully graduate to the rest of the headspace program. But no promises. Knowing that I have to sit for 20 minutes - it's a bit de-motivating right out of the gate.
